This is the story of Susan Nabukenya. Susan is a 14-year-old Ugandan girl who just arrived to Boston for life-saving plastic surgery at Boston Shriners. Susan was burned from her chest to her toes when she stepped too close to a cooking fire and her kerosene-stained dress ignited. She has lived with burn contractures and open wounds for four years and was forced to drop out of school. She had lost all hope. Until now. Join us as we journey with Susan towards a brighter future.

Very happy to hear good news.
Hopes, thoughts, prayers to you all.
Again I find myself searching for words...
Bob
Susan & John,
Best of luck to you both on your trip to Portland. Susan - you get more beautiful in each photo. You don't even resemble the shy girl who arrived here in May - you are truly transformed. Enjoy Portland and we look forward to your return to Boston and hopefully some time with my family in New York. Hugs, Theresa
